We are currently looking for a Band 5 System Analyst to work within one of the trusts offices based in Sevenoaks, Kent. The position is to start ASAP.

 

Required Band 5 System Analyst x 4  (DBS is required for this role)

Job Summary:  Working as part of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) project team leading on the configuration of the new EPR and data migration from the existing CIS to the new EPR, Rio system. In advance of go-live and end user training, there is a need to complete a thorough testing process to make sure the system is fit for purpose and fully usable and effective. This role will be responsible for supporting the definition, development, maintenance and distribution of the methods and tools used to complete the configuration work. You will support the lead systems analyst to develop and maintain standards and procedures to ensure that controls on updates and revisions to the system meet business needs. There are two main aspects of the role • Support the lead systems analyst to design and configure the system working with the Performance team, and services • Review the migrated data in the replacement system including writing test scripts and running through them with the services, prior to the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) stage of the testing phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: • RiO System configuration knowledge and experience • Clinical coding experience • Previous NHS System Testing knowledge or experience • Previous UAT experience in an NHS / healthcare environment • Proven experience of testing software systems • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels (clinical, management and administrative staff) both verbally and written • Able to relate technical information to non-technical people • Ability to support on test management and service improvement.
